Abigail Nossaman (14), from Northern Virginia, has studied piano with Anna Ouspenskaya at the Hunter Mill Music Studio since the age of six. She is a rising ninth grader at The Madeira School in McLean, Virginia. Abby has been a finalist in the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association Concerto Competition for four consecutive years and was a prizewinner in the International Great Composers Competition, placing in the Best Bach Performance category. In 2025, she will perform as a solo pianist in the Sound Espressivo Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall.

Abby is also committed to sharing music with others, regularly performing at assisted living communities across Northern Virginia as part of a student-led volunteer ensemble. Outside of music, she enjoys playing tennis, horseback riding, photography, and sketching. She is an avid reader and has a deep love of birds and the natural world.
