Cem has been playing guitar with passion since the mid-1980s, developing a deep appreciation for both classical and flamenco styles through years of solo practice. His musical interests extend beyond performance into the mathematics of music, including computer-aided harmonization and eastern musical tonal systems.

Cem especially enjoys adapting eastern folk music to classical guitar, blending tradition with innovation.

He is excited to join the New Jersey Guitar Orchestra (NJGO) this season as a section one member.
