Isabel Alarcón
Isabel Alarcón is a dancer from Madrid living in Seville, Andalucía.
Graduated at the Spanish Professional Conservatory Carmen Amaya in Spanish Dance and Flamenco and grant-holding of a scholarship at Cristina Heeren Flamenco Art Foundation, where she studied with figures as Milagros Menjibar or Javier Barón.
Finalist at Ubrique Flamenco Competition 2024 and Federation of Peñas of Málaga (2024) and Seville (2023).
She won the II Tablao Competition of Casa de la Memoria 2024.
She won first prize in the Category of Castanets for Dance Accompaniment at the III “Teresa Laiz” International Castanet Competition held in February of this year, 2025.
She has danced in the iconic Royal Theatre of Spain, Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona and the National Auditorium of Music of Madrid.
She regularly performs in tablaos and peñas of Andalusia as well as a castanets’ soloist with orchestras.
Her choreography is rooted in the ancient tradition and, after being infused with her personality, it develops into an elegant and unique form.
