PIANIST

Jude Bruce, age 10, is a 5th grader at Dominion Christian in Oakton, VA. He has studied piano since kindergarten and with Dr. MiHyang Joo since fall 2021. Jude performed in the 2023 NVMTA Bach-Baroque Honors Recital. He won 1st place in the 2022 YMIC Metropolitan Music Festival and earned 2nd round honors at the 2022 NVMTA Sonata Festival. Jude won 1st place in the 2022 MD State Gertrude Brown Concerto Competition (Jr Division), performed with the New England Chamber Orchestra and won 3rd place in the 2021 GCC Best Kabalevsky Competition. When not playing piano, Jude enjoys playing chess.
